I thought those things weren't poop but the stuff they regurgitate? I could be wrong. We did dissect them at a Science Class a couple of times.

You know what Zenmomma, you are right. Owl pellets are thrown up not evacuated out the other end. When we ordered them, they came wrapped up in aluminum foil like tiny baked potatoes.

When we dissected them, we found tiny mouse skulls. Very cool.

Well wherever they come from they are equally disgusting and fascinating! It's good to know my feeble brain can remember SOME-thing though. ;-)
