Olympian Mancake of the Day...Giddyup

Rich Fellers, USA Equestrian, began his riding career at the age of 11 when he was given a two-year-old Appaloosa for his birthday.

The first American to win the World Cup show jumping finals in 25 years, Fellers knew he and his Irish Sporthorse, Flexible, had a pretty good chance of making the 2012 Olympic Team.

And they did. Fellers has competed with Flexible since the 16-year-old horse was seven.

At 52, Fellers is, well, fine. And dandy.

Let's hope he and Flexible bring home the gold.

Lovely. Wonder if he needs a stable hand? I'm thinking of moving my career in a new direction.

I'm sorry, I'm being distracted by his horses... and my 13yo wants to know why *he* didn't get a 2yo Appaloosa for his eleventh birthday!

For he's a jolly good Feller! (I'll bet he's never heard that one before).

Handsome dandy indeed.
